It supports well and is comfortable for all day wear under anything. In the summer, this really helps keep you cool, and the fabric seems to dry quickly, so you don't have that uncomfortable "wet" feeling very long. I would recommend moving up a size if you are borderline. Runs on the small side, so if in question as to which size, go for the larger of the two. If your waist is medium to large, get the large for sure.
